As part of the Co-Creating Change National and International Festival (22-26 November, more details coming soon!) we have several call-outs that we would like you to share widely and consider applying for.
International Commissions Call Out
We are seeking 2 x UK arts/community based organisations to work with us on a new international partnership project between September-November 2021.
What is the partnership?
We’d like to pair you with an international organisation that you admire who has a body of practice that would support you and the communities that you work with.
The budget of £5,000 will give you and the international partner time to spend talking (online, sorry no air miles) about the work that you are doing, the change(s) that you are trying to make and how you are co-creating with your community. We expect that the budget will be split between yourself and the international partner, or used to cover translation or other costs. There are no specific outcomes expected from these conversations; we are hoping to find new global ways of working and sharing ideas that don’t involve flying but enable us to have meaningful international dialogue and exchange.
We will support you and your community over a 3 month period to have regular meetings with a brilliant international partner who is working in a similar way but somewhere else in the world.
We’d then like you to share how this dialogue has supported and possibly changed your ways of co-creating and what the benefits of international exchange in this way can be.
You will work with our dedicated Producer on this, unearthing learning and sharing with the wider arts community.
We are working with the excellent DHAQAN Collective on our international day and they will be coordinating this exchange project.
Deadline extended – 2 September 2021. For more information on how to apply, click here:
