Co-Creating Change: Let’s Talk About It.
Over the next few months the Co-Creating Change Network will be hosting a series of informal conversations with brilliant people from across the country exploring ideas around co-creation: what works and just as importantly what doesn’t.
We’d love for you to join us, get chatting and dive in. Join us on this co-created journey and in these challenging times feel part of our national network that is doing good stuff and making positive social change.
All events are free and online, but need to be signed up for before hand. You can do so but visiting our Eventbrite page here.
Conversation two: A Beginners’ Guide to Co-Creation
With Christina Poulton, Jerrel Jackson, Lora Krasteva and David Tovey, and Naomi Alexander and Nick Hamon
Tuesday 15th December, 10am – 11:30am
During lockdown many people from arts and non-arts organisations have been asking “what is co-creation”.
We have co-curated this event with Co-Creating Change network members to look at this question, and share our knowledge as we continue on our journey of discovery of what is and isn’t co-creation.
At this event we will have four organisations and artists sharing their co-created practice, alongside their co-creators, talking about the work that they have done, the positive social change that it has created, and what they have learnt. The conversation will be relaxed and honest, and it will include time for questions and for sharing approaches to co-creation.
– Christina Poulton, Strike A Light
– Jerrel Jackson, Creative Academies Network
– Lora Krasteva and David Tovey, Art & Homelessness International
– Naomi Alexander and Nick Hamon, Brighton’s People Theatre
The panel will be co-chaired by Kirtis Clarke, CCC Core/Steering Group member, and Sarah Blowers, Interim Co-Creating Change Director .
